About Me
Hi, I’m Dennis. I currently work as CTO of a promising online-ticketing scale-up in Germany, where I lead a team of talented engineers and product managers. My passion lies in building scalable and efficient systems, and I enjoy tackling complex challenges head-on. I have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on backend engineering and system architecture.
I love to tinker with new and old technologies, with a special preference for low-tech, minimal solutions. Be it digital or analog. I enjoy finding the simplest and most effective way to solve problems. My approach to software development is pragmatic, and I believe in the power of simplicity. Therefore my prefered languages are Elixir and Go and I have a soft spot for distributed, event-driven systems design.
This preference for simplicity extends to my personal life as well. I enjoy minimalism in every aspect. Be it architecure, design or lifestyle. (The last one is the hardest to achieve.. ^^)
In private I strive to live a low-tech lifestyle, in the sense of minimizing distractions and focusing on what truly matters. I believe that technology should serve us, not the other way around.
I am a an enthusiastic cyclist and embrace the lifestyle in every aspect. If you would like to see some visuals visit my gram.social page.
